EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Executive Summary: Each year there are 200 fatalities and 20,000 serious injuries that occur after children have been properly placed in Child Restraint or Car Seats. Kinematics, LLC, has developed and patented two unique technologies for safely transporting young children in automobiles and passenger trucks. The Child Safety Egg™ is an alternative to the Car Seats available in the market today.

It is estimated that the annual liability associated with these deaths and injuries is $12 billion.

The Child Restraint or Baby Seat market is approximately $360 million in annual U.S domestic sales, dominated by several manufacturers including; Fisher-Price, Graco, Kolkraft, and Evenflo among others. In Canada the market is dominated by Dorel where there are another $22 million annual sales. The automobile manufacturers also have a vested interest in this market as they are beginning to build safety seats into cars at the point of manufacture. Until the invention of the Safety Egg™, there have been only small marginal improvements to the original safety seats introduced in 1970’s.

  • The Company’s business objective is to introduce the Safety Egg™ through the individual efforts of Car Seat Industry’s primary participants who would collectively own the Safety Egg™ technology through a consortium.

  • The Company is financed through venture capital and private equity.
The objective is to deliver this product to market with the participation of the Industry’s primary manufacturers. The Company believes this is the best and fastest way to bring the product to market and begin reducing preventable deaths and injuries.
